Savory and Spicy Green Smoothie

This is a great #savory replacement for those sickly sweet fruit-based #smoothies and gives you a great way to incorporate more vegetables into your diet. #Avocado, #spinach and #limes provide outstanding nutrition and a little hot sauce adds a nice punch. If you like it really spicy add half a #jalepeno to kick it up. I top it with a little pillow of #V8 for a colorful twist and some hot sauce.

Add a V8 topper for some flair
Stop wasting your avocados on toast put them in here instead. Skip all the low end carbs from bread and have some tomatoes instead. Avocadoes are good for your heart, loaded with potassium have soluable fiber to feed your gut microbiome and lower your cholesterol!

Make sure to put the ingredients in the correct order!
Juicy on the bottom and leafy on the top.

Savory Green Avocado Smoothie - Makes 2 Servings
Simply add the ingredients to the blender and depending on the power of yours, you will likely have to tamp it down. If its thicker than you like simply add a little water to get to the consistency you enjoy. It should be pourable, top with some V8 if you like and enjoy. You could certainly add protein powder to the blender to make this a meal replacement.
juice of 1 lime
2 tomatoes
1 stalk of celery
1/2 avocado
1/2 jalapeno
1/2 bunch parsley - a handful of cilantro is great in here
2 - 3 handfuls of spinach
